Mrs. Woodel's Classroom

This is my second year back with Oregon Connections Academy, where I previously worked earlier in my career. I am currently in my tenth year as a certified teacher, which includes three and a half years of online teaching experience.

Prior to becoming a teacher, I served as an online coordinator for a school district, supporting students in grades K–12. I began my career in education as an educational assistant, working directly with students in the classroom.

In total, I bring over 20 years of experience in education.

I am married and have four grown children—three of whom are married—which means our family has grown to seven children. I have two grandsons and one granddaughter.

Fun Facts

• I have visited 27 states, and also been to Washington, D.C.

• My husband and I enjoy visiting national and state parks, and we collect stamps in our passport books.

• Two summers ago, we took one of our sons and our oldest grandchild on a trip to start his own passport book. He visited 16 parks in two weeks and earned 16 Junior Ranger badges.

• This summer we took our oldest grandson again. He visited 52 parks and earned 52 Junior Ranger badges.
